Web accessibility statement
How accessible our website is, how to report issues and what to do if you can’t access parts of it.
This accessibility statement applies to
- our website – https://energysaverapp.com
- our app – Energy Saver App
This website is run by Oxfordshire County Council. It is hosted and developed by Growth Guides. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 300 per cent without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
We have designed this website with features that make it easier to use by everyone, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, or neurological disabilities. We aim to reach level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These are the international standards for accessible websites and content.
The Energy Saver App is supported by Oxfordshire County Council, and developed and hosted by Metis and Eliq. We want as many people as possible to use the app.
On a phone or tablet you can use the built-in Apple iOS or Android accessibility settings to make some parts of the Energy Saver App more accessible.
How accessible this website and app is
