Getting started with Energy Saver App – how to find your MAC number
You’ll need to find your MAC number, also known as a GUID or EUI, to connect the Energy Saver App to your smart meter. We’ve made a short, interactive video to help walk you through the process, and provided step-by-step instructions below.
Finding your MAC number on the outside of your display:
- Check the Bottom of Your Display:
- Look at the bottom of your in-home display.
- You should see a label with a number similar to this: GUID: 0C-A2-F4-00-00-00-00-00. That’s your MAC number.
- Check the Battery Compartment:
- If there is no label on the outside, you might find it inside the battery compartment.
- Remove the battery cover on the back or bottom of the display to check.
- Check the Settings Menu:
- If you can’t find the MAC/GUID/EUI number on the outside, look in the ‘Settings’ or ‘About’ menu of your display.
