Energy Saver App shortlisted for two national awards
We’re excited to share that the Energy Saver App has been shortlisted for not one, but two national awards recognising innovation in energy and sustainability.
The app, developed by Metis in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, has been named a finalist in the 2025 edie Net Zero Awards for:
- Energy Efficiency Project of the Year
- Smart Systems and Flexibility Project of the Year
The Energy Saver App was created to make energy saving simpler, smarter, and more accessible for households across Oxfordshire. Being recognised like this highlights the impact the app is already having and the potential it has to help even more people reduce energy waste, cut costs and support our journey to net zero. These nominations are a testament to the innovation, dedication and impact of everyone involved – and to our shared ambition to make net zero not just achievable, but accessible.
We’re thrilled to be part of such an important national conversation around climate action and innovation, and we’d like to thank the edie Awards team for the recognition. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the final results. Best of luck to all the outstanding finalists!
